There are 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. Turn Signal Flasher is located on the driver's side, under dash, mounted on upper passenger side of steering column support. Hazard Flasher is located same place only it is mounted on the driver's side of the steering column. I first of all checked to see if the light was blown, and it wasn't. I replaced the light anyways. My hazards still work as do the parking lights. Could this be a problem with the switch or what? Both left and right turn signals have stopped working, but the hazard lights are still working. The switch for the turn signals works for the bright lights, just not to turn on either blinker. There are some posts and videos online about this happening in older Cherokees/Grand Cherokees and they changed a turn signal relay, but I don't think

I have one sitting in my parts bin. Been there for a few months now because I needed one and it was like $4 and I added it to another internet parts order. This part is subject to severe wear and tear and could eventually fail. Follow these steps to inspect and possibly fix the lever. Use a Phillips screwdriver to undo the top steering column and lower dashboard cover. Unscrew the turn signal lever. Disconnect the switch connector and inspect for gunk or burnt marks, etc. During a 4 hour trip to Ohio last week all of a sudden my left turn signal on my '04 GC Laredo stopped flashing and instead stayed on. I didn't actually realize that it was staying on until I pulled over and took a look at it. No running lights on 3 different trailers have brake and directional but that's it. Check all fuses and relays. The brown wire at the factory trailer plug which is your running light wire. goes from plug to a relay in a side panel in the back. Any clue why there's no power to that brown wire. W.

The brake light, reverse light, and turn signal work as long as lights are not on. A problem with the Tail Light Switch is associated with a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 1999 Grand Cherokee. Left turn signal does not work at all. All of the 4 ways work except the left rear. I have replaced the left rear bulbs and replaced the entire tail light assembly. Still no good. I checked the voltage at the connector that goes into the tail light assembly-no voltage. I can't find a detailed wiring diagram on the web.

The flasher relay is actually two separate relays on the inside of that black box One controls your turn signals the other controls your hazards.
