Before you contact your Dealer, you might try these two things, if you have not already: 1) MMI reboot. Start up the car and get to your MMI loading page. Push and hold the Volume knob at the side of the center console until the MMI reboots. See what comes up! 2)Do a "full shutdown" of the car: With the car on, roll up all the windows.
It finally worked it self out after a couple cold starts. You need to switch to am/FM radio and then turn the volume to your desired state. Then switch back to sirius as a workaround. Never reset MMI as an option though. 2 cold starts and it was fine the next day both times. The MMI gave the option of selecting the USB port as an update source. Of course, my maps were already up-to-date. So, the MMI notified me that it did not find an updateable (i.e., newer) file on the thumb drive. So, it appears to me that you can update the maps/navigation via the USB port in the 2021s.

Supposedly Audi has improved the design with a stronger material for the C7, nevertheless, may be your issue.
